Hello

I have always enjoyed reading all of my friends’ blogs, so I thought I would join in on the fun. For this first one I will do a quick update on where Richie and I are in our lives. We still live in Arlington, Texas in our 3-bedroom 2-bath house with our wonderfully spoiled dogs Sasha and Little Bit. I love my house and hope we never have to move, but more than likely will once we start having kids. Speaking of kids we still don't have any, but we are working on it!!! Hopefully, we will have some HAPPY news for you in the near future. If not we will continue having fun working on it. Haha
Richie started working for my Dad back in February at Aadvantage Laundry Systems in a sales/marketing position. For those of you who know Richie well you know he could sell ice to an Eskimo, so he will be just fine selling laundry equipment. Richie does a great job at everything he does and puts in a 110%. Speaking of doing things at 110% he definitely SPOILS our kids, I mean dogs very well. I limit him to 2 dog toys every time we go to Wal-Mart from the 88-cent bin. Right now we have 5 toys that haven't been touched in our laundry room and the next time we go to Wal-Mart he will get a couple more. :)
In September I started my third year teaching 4th grade math at Veda Knox Elementary. I love teaching and actually have become team leader this year. I am not coaching volleyball anymore. Richie and I resigned from coaching at Texas Wesleyan University in 2006. I tried to take off last year, but missed being in the gym too much so I coached a 16yr old Club team. I forgot how many weekends Club took up, so I am definitely not coaching this year. Even though they have called and begged me to come back. Richie and I will still be tournament directors for Cowtown Volleyfest. If you want, you can check out pictures of the entire tournament at http://www.cowtownvolleyfest.com/. We have now been running Cowtown for 7 years!!! I can't believe it has been that long already. Besides teaching and running Cowtown I also work at a motorcycle shop, Rucker Performance, on Tuesday and Thursdays after school for a couple hours. I also work there during the summer. For those of you who know me really well, know that I hate being board and love working. Wednesday is usually my day off when I only teach school and the weekends, which is plenty of time off for me.
Hope all of you are doing well and love each and every one of you!
